I simply could not put this book down! The story line, mystery, intrigue, fast-paced set of the book kept me glued to the pages. The book is one of redeeming integrity and personal values in a progressive world. It is fascinating. A must read.
This book was a very revealing read.

The story line, although fiction, has many parallels to some of the recent corporate accounting frauds... and the many innocent auditors caught in the crossfire. I especially liked the dedication “To the thousands of people who worked at Arthur Andersen, and who upheld the highest standards of integrity, and who nevertheless paid a great price for those who did not.” This was a great story.

Good story, long-term view

I just read the book 'Children of the Night.' It was a good story, sort of like John Grisham with a touch of Ayn Rand. The book did a good job of explaining why we need to look at the long term. There are a lot of troubling things going on and Sarbanes-Oxley only made matters worse.
